Life as an Osteopath in Sleaford: An exciting new Chapter
There’s something really exciting about being an osteopath in Sleaford at the moment. Since starting here, I’ve been absolutely loving becoming part of the local community and getting to know the people, businesses and sporting community that make Sleaford such a great place to work. For me, being an osteopath is about much more than treating an injury. It’s about getting to know people, understanding what they want to achieve and helping them move, perform and feel their best — whether that’s getting back to sport, managing an ongoing problem or simply making everyday life a little easier.
One of the things I’m particularly excited about is the continued growth of our team. We’ll soon be welcoming Neil Coppard, our new physiotherapist, who will bring his experience and expertise to the clinic. Having physiotherapy alongside osteopathy means we can offer our patients an even broader range of knowledge and treatment options, depending on their individual needs. We’re also delighted to have Arianna, our sports therapist, as part of the team. Her focus on sports therapy adds another fantastic dimension to what we can offer, particularly for people involved in regular training, competition and active lifestyles.
It’s brilliant to be building a team with different areas of expertise, while keeping the same goal at the heart of everything we do: helping people move better and get back to doing what they love.Becoming part of the Sleaford sporting communityI’m also really looking forward to developing a relationship with Sleaford FC.Football brings together so many people in the local community, and I’d love for our clinic to become a trusted part of that sporting network.
From helping players recover from injuries and return to training, to supporting injury prevention and maintaining performance throughout the season, there’s a huge opportunity to work alongside local athletes and the club.Building that relationship is something I’m genuinely excited about, and I hope it can develop into a long-term partnership that benefits both the players and the wider Sleaford community.
Loving life in Sleaford Ultimately, I’m really enjoying being in Sleaford. It’s been fantastic meeting local people, hearing their stories and seeing just how strong the community spirit is here. There’s a real sense that Sleaford is a place where local businesses, sports clubs and the community can support one another — and I’m excited to play my part in that.
With Neil joining us soon, Arianna continuing to bring her sports therapy expertise, and our plans to build closer links with Sleaford FC and the wider sporting community, there’s a lot to look forward to. It’s an exciting time to be an osteopath in Sleaford, and I’m looking forward to seeing where this next chapter takes us.
