John Rothery is a Registered Osteopath and the founder of Sleaford Spine & Health Clinic, where he has been providing patient-centred musculoskeletal care for over 14 years. John is proud to have built his practice in Sleaford, Lincolnshire, and particularly enjoys helping people from the local community get back to the activities and lifestyles they enjoy.

John has a genuine love for Sleaford and the surrounding Lincolnshire area. Having worked with local patients for many years, he understands the importance of providing high-quality healthcare close to home. His aim is to create a friendly, welcoming and professional environment where people from Sleaford, North Kesteven and the surrounding villages can access expert care for pain, injury and musculoskeletal problems.

John's Osteopathic Experience

John studied Osteopathy at Oxford Brookes University before becoming a clinical mentor at Swansea University, where he supported and guided osteopathy students as they developed their clinical skills.

Committed to continually developing his knowledge and clinical expertise, John has completed postgraduate training in ultrasound-guided injection therapy at the University of Nottingham and Queen’s Medical Centre.

Over the past two years, John has also been sponsored by the NHS to train as a Physician Associate, working alongside General Practitioners and junior doctors in primary care. This experience has broadened his clinical knowledge and enabled him to work with patients presenting with a wide range of medical conditions, contributing to the assessment, diagnosis and management of both acute and long-term health problems.

Osteopathy and Musculoskeletal Care in Sleaford

John has a particular interest in the assessment and treatment of back pain, neck pain, joint conditions, sports injuries and persistent musculoskeletal disorders.

His approach combines hands-on osteopathic treatment with evidence-based practice, rehabilitation and patient education. Rather than simply treating symptoms, John aims to understand the individual factors contributing to each patient's problem and develop a treatment approach that helps reduce pain, restore movement and improve long-term function.

Whether you're looking for an osteopath in Sleaford, help with back pain or joint pain, treatment following a sports injury, or advice about a persistent musculoskeletal problem, John is passionate about providing personalised care to patients from Sleaford and the wider Lincolnshire community.
